We were utterly reliant on Checkatrade to source us a reliable contractor for our repair job. We signed up and advertised our needs, but unfortunately, we were left abandoned at sea.

We are extremely disappointed with Checkatrade and would strongly advise using their website. There are more reliable alternatives out there. We feel sorry for having wasted our resources on this disappointing service.

After/Upon/Following hiring a plumber/electrician/carpenter from their platform, we ended up with a shoddy/subpar/messy job that cost us a fortune/ dearly/ an arm and a leg. Checkatrade's response/customer service/support has been dismissive/useless/unhelpful, leaving us feeling frustrated/angry/betrayed.

It's clear to us that Checkatrade puts the emphasis on their own profits over the well-being/satisfaction/rights of customers. We demand/request/urge fair compensation/justice/accountability for this injustice/wrongdoing/terrible experience.

Think twice before you trust Checkatrade. Their whole setup is designed to take your money. They promise the world but they deliver nothing. You'll be left in a pickle and nobody at Checkatrade will give a damn.

It website all starts with their sneaky fees, which they hide in the small stuff. Then, there's the terrible support that's about as helpful as a chocolate teapot. You can try to get your money back, but it's like talking to a wall.

So, steer well clear of Checkatrade if you value your time.

Right away, the response from the "qualified" trader was lackluster/awful/terrible. He was unprofessional/rude/disrespectful and sent us a quote that was outrageous/ridiculous/way too high. We tried to discuss the issues, but he was adamant/unwilling/stubborn to compromise/negotiate/change.

In the end, we ended up payinga huge sum/an exorbitant amount/ way more than it should have been by this so-called "vetted" trader. Checkatrade's support was equally useless/incompetent/unhelpful. They offered us a pathetic excuse/blamed the trader/did nothing.

We're left feeling frustrated and suggest looking elsewhere for your tradesman needs.

We Paid, But Never Saw the Work: Checkatrade Fail.

My rundown with Checkatrade turned into a nightmare. I engaged a trader through their website to complete some vital home repairs. They seemed reliable at first, but it turned out a terrible ordeal.

Despite I paid the full amount upfront, the work was never done. Contact ceased. It's been months, and I'm still left with a gaping hole where my sense of security once was.
